The Bible

We believe that the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority for faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:105)

The Triune God
God, The Father, God, The Son, and God, The Holy Spirit

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of all things, perfect in holiness, love, and justice. (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future return in power and glory. (John 1:1–14; Matthew 1:23; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; Revelation 19:11–16).

We believe the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who indwells, guides, teaches, and empowers believers for godly living and service. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. (John 14:16–17; John 16:8–13; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–23).

Humanity

We believe that all people are created in the image of God, being equal in value and worth, but are fallen and sinful by nature and choice, and therefore in need of salvation. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12).

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. It is a free gift of God, not earned by works. Through repentance and faith, individuals are forgiven of their sins, given new life in Christ, and are destined for eternal life in Heaven. (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 6:23; Acts 3:19; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers throughout time and location. The local church exists to worship God, make disciples, serve others, and proclaim the gospel in the local communities of believers. (1 Corinthians 12:27; Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:42–47).

Marriage and Family

We believe that marriage is a covenant established by God between one man and one woman, who are to remain faithful to each other physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The family is the primary context for spiritual discipleship and should be focused on living out biblical principles, being led by the husband, who is the spiritual leader, according to Ephesians 5:25. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Ephesians 5:22–33).

Mission and Evangelism

We believe the Church is called to make disciples of all nations, sharing the gospel locally and globally, starting in their local communities and spreading outward to the ends of the Earth. (Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:14–15).

The Return of Christ

We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to retrieve His bride (the Church) and the establishment of His kingdom. (Matthew 24:30; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17).

Eternal Destiny

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: those who are saved to eternal life with God in Heaven, and those who are lost to eternal separation from God in Hell. (John 5:28–29; Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:11–15).

Christian Living

We believe all believers are called to live holy lives, pursuing greater love and obedience to God, loving others, and demonstrating the fruit of the Spirit. (Romans 12:1–2; Galatians 5:22–25; John 13:34–35).

Spiritual Gifts

We believe that spiritual gifts are given by the Holy Spirit for the building up of the Church and the advancement of God’s mission. All of the gifts are still active today and are distributed at the discretion of God, the Giver of Gifts. (1 Corinthians 12:4–11; Romans 12:6–8; Ephesians 4:11–13).

Ordinances

We believe in two ordinances established by Jesus Christ: Baptism by immersion for believers and The Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26).
